As I have mentioned on my previous Armenia blog, another reason for you to visit this country is that it’s a budget friendly! Here’s a detailed expenses of my 2days trip in Armenia.

 

First, the ticket fare, do not be surprised on the price of ticket I bought as I have discount on Qatar Airways. Relatives of QA employees knows it. So, moving forward, an average fare of roundtrip ticket would cost QAR 2,735 (751 USD) from Doha throughout 2020. You may also purchase Travel Insurance through SafetyWing for 6 USD. If you want to be connected and updated on your social networks, simcard is very affordable. For just 5.43 USD or 2,600 AMD you will have 5GB data and unlimited local calls. More than enough for all your social networks. And oh, its Beeline simcard. Coverage is good. Doesn’t feel buying simcard? No worries, most of the tour service have their wifi on board.

A week before the travel we tried searching for Tour Package. For 110 USD, we are offered 2 full days of tour to 12 places in Armenia; airport pick up; and a private room with breakfast on an apartment near Republic Square. The Tour Package doesn’t include entrances and food during the trip. Here are the entrance fees:

 

Tsaghkadzor Cable Car: 4.18 USD = 2,000 AMD

Snow mobil (ATV): 10.45 USD = 5,000 AMD – can be shared by two

Garni Temple: 3.14 USD = 1,500 AMD

We haven’t tried to go to the night bar because we choose to stay in our room to drink wine/beer.
